NEDC
New European Driving Cycle
The old European cycle, now retired. It was notoriously optimistic, so take its range figures with a grain of salt.
NEDC was the European standard until WLTP retired it for being unrealistic: it measured in such gentle conditions that ranges landed clearly above the road.
If you see a spec sheet with NEDC range, assume the real number will be quite a bit lower, and don't compare it head-to-head with a WLTP or EPA figure.
