CLTC

China Light-duty Vehicle Test Cycle

The Chinese lab test. It tends to give the most optimistic range figures because it includes lots of slow city driving and little highway.

CLTC is China's certification protocol. Its profile has lots of low-speed city and little highway, conditions where an EV over-performs — which is why its numbers tend to be the highest of the three big cycles.

It's not cheating: it's another yardstick. But it means '600 km CLTC' doesn't equal 600 km WLTP. SOHpro always shows which cycle was used (or hides the figure if it doesn't know), and never force-converts.
