Kilowatt-hour
The battery's energy unit: how much it stores. It's the 'tank size' of an EV. More kWh, more range (all else equal).
A kilowatt-hour (kWh) is energy: the amount one kilowatt of power delivers over one hour. An EV's battery is measured in kWh just as a tank is measured in liters.
Watch one detail: there are two figures. Nominal capacity (what physically fits) and usable (what the car actually lets you use, keeping a buffer to protect the battery). Range comes from the usable figure.
